Project Description
The new Joe DiMaggio Children's Hospital
will consist of a 156,000 sq ft, 4-story Children's Pavilion.
The first floor of the Children's Pavilion would include a lobby,
admitting and registration areas, pediatric ambulatory services,
a café and gift shop, family amenities and the service
departments of environmental, security and supplies.
The second floor is proposed to house OR
suites, mainly servicing outpatients and two GI suites. In addition,
administration and a conference center would be available.
A 20+ bed medical surgical unit would be
on the third floor as well as radiology / diagnostic services
for children.
The fourth floor would include a 20+ bed
inpatient oncology unit as well as outpatient services for pediatric
oncology and a pharmacy to support those services.
Euthenics' equipment planning services
for Groups I, II, and III medical equipment included the medical
equipment list, budget management, CAD drawings, and construction/procurement
documents.
